This directory contains codes to replicate model statistics in:

  Sweat Equity in US Private Business
  Minneapolis Fed Staff Reports 560,612
  by Anmol Bhandari and Ellen McGrattan

Before running the codes, users need to set up the python environment
with the anaconda installation. The required  packages are listed in 
the file Requirements.txt.  
 
The replication codes are split across the following subdirectories:

  ./Sweatcodes
  ./NoSweatCodes

The file Readme in the subdirectories explains how the python files and 
jupyter notebooks are organized.  The files in ./SweatCodes are used for 
computing the equilibria and simulating outcomes in the baseline model 
with sweat capital.  The files in ./NoSweatCodes are used for computing 
the equilibria and simulating outcomes for the Lucas (1978) model without 
sweat capital.
