This directory contains codes for computing the balanced growth
path of economies with multiple productivity types studied in:

     On Financing Retirement with an Aging Population
     Ellen McGrattan and Edward Prescott
     Staff Reports 472/473

Inputs for the baseline economy are in ./benchmark and inputs for
the alternative economies are in ./sensitivity.  The main codes
for computing equilibria are ./codes/bgtcmp.f90 and ./codes/bgtcmp_e.f90
in the case of more flexible preferences.  To plot results, run 
plotbg.m or plotbg_e.m in Matlab.
